For our Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the chosen artpiece onto the surface of the aluminum. The bright & white parts of the original artwork shine with a silk gloss, however without the glow.

Važna informacija: We try our best in order to describe the art products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually on the various product detail pages. Nonetheless, some colors of the printed materials and the printing may vary slightly from the presentation on your monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments can be printed one hundret percent realistically. Considering that our are processed and printed by hand, there might as well be minor variations in the motif's exact position and the size.

This alluring depiction of a woman playing a guitar was painted during Vouet’s years in Rome and reveals his interest in the work of Caravaggio with its dramatic lighting and psychological engagement with the beholder. Women playing guitars have a long history in European painting. Seventeenth-century French engravings of modes and manners often show them, as here, lost in reverie. One, dated 1630, has the caption "Love Conquers All but Music Does Not Conquer Love." In 1627 Simon Vouet, already famous, returned to Paris to become painter to the king and the dominant force in French painting.
