Plovila na uzburkanom moru was created by Jan Porcellis in 1620. Slika mjeri veličinu: unframed: 45,2 x 56,9 cm (17 13/16 x 22 3/8 in) framed: 60,96 x 71,76 cm (24 x 28 1/4 in). Ulje na platnu was applied by the artist as the technique for the masterpiece. Today, this artpiece is included in the Galerija umjetnosti Univerziteta Yale digitalna kolekcija u New Havenu, Connecticut, Sjedinjene Američke Države. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in pejzaž format i ima omjer slike od 1.2: 1, to znači dužina je 20% duža od širine. The painter Jan Porcellis was an artist, whose art style can primarily be classified as Baroque. The Dutch painter was born in 1574 u Gentu, Istočna Flandrija, Flandrija, Belgija i preminuo u godini 58 u 1632.
