For every product we offer a range of different materials & sizes. Choose your preferred material and size among the options:

  • Otisak na platnu: A UV printed canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Hanging a canvas print: The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Therefore, canvas prints are suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Štampanje od akrilnog stakla (sa pravim staklenim premazom): An print on acrylic glass, which is often described as a plexiglass print, makes your favorite original work of art into beautiful décor. Your artwork is being made with the help of modern UV print machines. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and smaller details become exposed due to the precise gradation. Our plexiglass protects your selected art replica against light and external influences for many years.
  • Ispis postera (materijal na platnu): A poster print is a printed canvas paper with a slight surface structure. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the print, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • Aluminijski dvobojni otisak (metal): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with a true depth, which creates a contemporary impression by having a surface , which is not reflective. The bright and white parts of the work of art shine with a silky gloss, however without the glow. The colors are vivid and luminous in the highest definition, the fine details of the print appear clear and crisp, and the print has a a matte look that you can literally feel.

Legal disclaimer: We try the best we can to describe our art products as exact as possible and to exhibit them visually in our shop. Nevertheless, the pigments of the printing material and the printing can vary to a certain extent from the image on the monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Considering that our fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there might also be slight variations in the size and exact position of the motif.

Degas' family was relatively affluent, so he did not have to rely entirely on sales of his work for financial support. He was thus free to experiment and choose his own subjects; almost all of his portraits depict relatives or friends. He was also able to delay finishing paintings, reworking them until they met his exacting standards. Many times Degas retrieved works he had already delivered so that he could perfect them. Some he never completed.

This unfinished portrait of Degas' sister and her Neapolitan husband is one such example. (The painting was in his studio at the time of his death.) Notice how Thérèse's dress and shawl are undefined masses of color. There, Degas has scraped and rubbed the paint off the canvas. The dark lines indicate changes he intended but never made. The faces, by contrast, are carefully finished, detailed and expressive. Degas hoped to capture his sitters, he said, in "familiar and typical attitudes."
